Order of Adunih Family Clinic and Orphanage
The twin structures of the Adunih’s family clinic and orphanage were remodeled after the Ember Plague that swept through Rharne. The two buildings were once shops that had been vacated and then sold. Now they have been remodeled to reflect there new purposes. Both structures on the outside are well maintained, but fairly spartan of decorations.
Clinic
The right building is the family clinic. Upon entering it you find yourself in the waiting room. A smiling member of the order sits behind a desk to help you receive the help you need, and to confirm appointments. The room, is softly colored to make children more comfortable, and has little tables with donated toys. The chairs are sturdy and nice, but not richly made. Though several clearly have been designed for children and others for expecting mothers.
Children who need a check up, with their parents would be shown into rooms designed again to make them more comfortable, while expecting mothers were taken to rooms designed to make them more comfortable.
The clinic is designed for visits with the healers, dealing babies. Long term care or surgery are to be sent to the main clinic.
Orphanage
The left building is the orphanage. One first enters and finds themselves in a waiting room. It is comfortable with chairs, but it is a small room as large amount of people aren’t encouraged. There is only one door out of the waiting room and there is a bell by the interior door. The door from the waiting room is kept locked.
In the orphanage itself, effort was taken to make the building more comfortable for the children who live there. While similar ages share room, each child is given their own spaces with curtain for privacy. There are gathering rooms for the children as well, and they are supplied with toys and books to help them.
There is a kitchen and dinning room on site, and behind the orphanage is a walled garden to allow the children to play.
The children aren’t kept lock always up. They are often taken out to see the city and experience it. As they get older they also will be appointed apprenticeships to become productive citizens of the city.
