Sea Spray Ships
Situated on the shores of the Hollow Sea and on the northern bank of the river that runs through Egilrun, Sea Spray Ships stands out from other buildings in the town not simply because of its location. Its architectural style, with the building being built out of a ship's hull and featuring many nautical aspects - including a crow's nest that makes the building visible from other parts of town - is at deliberate odds with the utilitarian approach to Egilrun design. Instead, it reflects the Almund origins of its owner, Streth Whitbloom.
Sea Spray Ships builds and repairs sea worthy vessels and is capable of managing a variety of projects, from canoes and rowboats to longships and brigs. The complexity and customisability of these vessels vary greatly, and as such, so do the prices and production times.
Based almost entirely on the skill and reputation of the owner, Sea Spray Ships produce some of the finest seafaring vessels in Eastern Idalos.

Other Info: In another life, Tarsh was an adventurer on the high seas. Yet, come age and marriage, that life is behind her - yet not forgotten. Instead, she now uses her knowledge of the seas and seafaring to help her and her husband craft some of the best ships in Idalos. She has a particular finesse when it comes to sail configuration, construction and mechanics and will gladly discuss these topics until the cows come home.
She is a sturdy woman and sure-footed, tall and broad of shoulder and carriers herself with an air of importance. Her eyes and pointed ears give her away as Biqaj and she is just as fluent in Rakahi as she is in her Scalveen-tinted Common. Yet there's some ambiguity with her, borne from one who wishes to disguise a past they no longer associate with.
Originally from Almund, she left it behind when she met Streth, the pair choosing to move to Egilrun to start their business. It worked for her, allowing her to put distance between herself and her past while allowing her a place to create something that was theirs and theirs alone.

Originally hailing from Almund, he has spent several arcs in the shipbuilding trade, and has carved out a name for himself, (pun intended!), by creating vessels of the finest quality. Such is his dedication to his craft that he insists on focusing on a single ship at a time, so that he can not be distracted by other potential jobs.
Streth has a small workforce assisting him, with local craftsmen and apprentices who help to speed up the shipbuilding process or to work on smaller jobs. Such is the quality of Streth's craftsmanship, many of his ships are referred to simply as 'Sea Sprays' or 'Whitblooms'.
