Global Plot 717: Basic Information!

This will take place in the last 3 days of Saun and the first 3 of Vhalar. There will be some time in Zi'da for the "finale" but we'll let you know when that is.

This plot is going to be in three parts. We're purposely keeping it vague because who signs up and which Immortals they're allied with etc will shape this.

But fundamentally:
The Immortals are chasing some specific items / artifacts and need some mortals to get them (there are rules in place that can't be broken!)

Each Immortal involved will have to choose "avatars"/"champion"/"lackeys" - aka - a very limited number of mortals who will be chasing down these items for them and can not directly help / give the information.

However, those mortal avatar/champion/lackeys might have a group of four friends with them - that's great! Or someone the Immortal doesn't choose could chase these things a different way. Hence why we're keeping it open and vague, depending on sign ups.

Part 1 (Saun) is going to be city-held tests/ puzzles / things to solve. The Immortals will use these threads to choose their "avatar/champion/lackeys"

Part 2(Vhalar) will be the Immortals telling their chosen ones what they know about the items and the chosen ones going and finding out where those items are etc.

Part 3(Zi'da) will be recovering the items and the end game decision of what to do.

So while it remains widely vague and open for interpretation on behalf of the Immortals, are we bound to see some definitive alliances forming between them? Is there going to be a number of sides to this event which we'll see develop?

I of course ask because it would be interesting to witness the dynamic of power struggles, for example Patrick has himself a Sesser curse mark (so in other words Syroa's attention, be it good or bad) so would other mortals offer a means to 'alleviate' this curse? Would that in turn instigate a power struggle between said Immortals? Definitely highly curious to see what everybody is up to.

I ..... think it's unlikely that we'll see the kind of alliances you're talking about between Immortals, tbh. Just because they all (who are involved) will want the artifacts, so that being the case, the ones who want to share are likely to be limited in number.

.... however, that doesn't mean that there won't be some shenanigans between them. I think that is almost guaranteed

Global Plot 717!

So, the sign ups are done, the groups are chosen. The mods are ready!

We've made some changes to what we're going to do, in light of the sign ups and the Immortals (or not) you chose. So, the way this is going to work is:

Saun will involve "modbombs" happening throughout the season. These will be done at some point, you won't know where we're popping in, but we will. They might be an existing thread or they might be a dream. They could be separate/ individual or they could be in your group. What they will do is give you some clues that you'll need! Who knows, they might give you tasks to do, too!

Then, Vhalar will be the Immortals choosing their "avatar/champion/lackeys"

Zi'da will be the chosen ones going and finding out where those items are etc.

Then we will get to recovering the items and the end game decision of what to do.

And so, let the games begin

Hey, is this even still going on? I wasn't sure because I haven't heard anymore information about it and I haven't got any modbombs on any of my threads so I was just starting to get kind of curios as to if this event is still going to happen.

Yes, it is There are some modbombs / dream threads underway at the moment, others are about to start. I promise you, you are in a group and assigned to a mod.

Just checking but are there still starter quest threads to come? Now that Saun's almost over I'm just a tad worried I'm going to miss the global thread.
