Appearance

Ky is solidly built, standing 5' 6" tall, with broad shoulders, big hands, and an almost flat chest. Her voice is husky, her eyes hazel, and her brown hair has a tendency to stick out in all directions. Her face is broad, round and plain, sometimes likened to one of her own unbaked loaves, but humour gleams in the eyes and tugs at the corners of her mouth.
Personality

Ky is the quiet type, self-contained, with a habit of wry humour that she uses to deflect attention from her looks and opinions. She loves to learn but is all too aware that she plods rather than races through subjects. Brought up to be practical and efficient, she nevertheless seeks out and devours all and any knowledge that she can.
History

Kyreen, or Ky as she prefers to be called, was born in Darbyton, the second child in a family of eight. She learned to be self-sufficient very young, not only in items, but in playstyle and lifestyle. Often the butt of the joke, being neither pretty nor quick, she often got prodded until she lashed out in response, and was then punished for her lack of control. As a result, she learned to occupy herself either alone or helping out somewhere. Her family's focus was on cooking and baking with the motto Everyone needs to eat. Their particular speciality was turning sprouted grains and beans into easy-to-transport bread for the hunters and trappers to take with them on their trips, and Ky spent a lot of her younger years crushing the sprouted beans down into a single mass.

Once she became old enough to be taught the basics, she discovered a thirst for learning, and befriended the scholar who kept the geneology records for Darbyton. She learned from them how to lay out timelines, and served as their scribe on a few occasions when the cold of Cylus aggravated the early arthitis in their hands. When the University came to Scalvoris, Ky longed to study there, but her family demanded more practicality from her than pure study. They wanted a plan that would ensure that Ky wouldn't need their support, as there were too many other (prettier) children to dower into marriage. It went without saying that they thought no-one would want Ky, with or without a dower. Ky, meanwhile, was too hardened to their scorn for her looks to let it bother her much. She would rather have a pile of books than a spouse anyday. Eventually she cobbled together a plan that her family approved of. She would go and support herself while she learned, and when she had learned enough to do the job, she would return and become the next scholar to keep the genealogical records that prevented inbreeding.
Housing

A 400 ft square wooden house with a brick chimney, in Scalvoris Town. It is split into living space, one bedroom, kitchen / dining area and bathroom. It also has a medium sized garden with a small shed included. It contains one bed, two chairs, one table, two knives, a set of six plates (assorted), one chest, a wood stove, and a fireplace.
