Herein is kept all the repositories of information for players. Repositories include: flora, fauna, NPCs and materials, for example, along with Scalvoris' Lore Thread and all the information you need on what makes Scalvoris Unique!
Found: Scalvoris Mountains and the surrounding grassland. Toxicity/Hazard: None Appearance: Akin in shape and size to a regular Lily, but with metalic silver coloured petals. Properties: The most noticable feature about these strange lilies is that they will not bloom during the day. As their name suggests Treid's Lilies can only absorb moonlight, and close up again when not in its presence in a matter of minutes. Their silver colouring reflects moonlight in a way that makes them glimmer beautifully, and because this glimmering effect grows stronger the fuller the moon is then standing in a field of these flowers on a cloudless full-moon night is said to be one of Scalvoris' most romantic sights.
Other Information: When these flowers are plucked their silver colouring quickly turns into a sad grey, and no matter how well cared for they appear weak and wilting. Because of this there is a superstition that plucking one of these flowers will bring a person bad luck for the next week, however this had not stopped alchemists across the world from harvesting them for their rare property to make effects trigger when exposed to moonlight.

Details: Smintles are pretty and unusual flowers, blossoming three times an arc. They are found throughout Scalvoris, not having a particular place where they prefer to grow, other than enjoying rich soil. The flowers are pretty and might be any one of a variety of colours, but they are known as the "Scribe's Dream" as the petals of the Smintle plant makes exquisite inks which are rich and deep in colour and the strange scroll- like shapes which stick up from the middle of the flower make excellent pen nibs. There are secrets to discover about this plant!
Needs to be added to the wiki
Found: Only in areas of space where portals are kept open or frequently used. Toxicity/Hazard: None Appearance: Simple flowers with pink petals. Properties: Schrodo Tulips only grow in areas where the space is residually connected to another part of space, namely through damage caused by opening a portal. What makes these flowers unique is that they exist on both sides of this connected space, essentially being in two places as once. If you find one in the forest somewhere and pull a petal off, then find the exact same flower somewhere else missing the same petal, you'll know that a rupturer has been frequently blinking or making portals between those two spots. Other Information: Because of their unique ability, Element troops often make use of them to discover where criminal rupturers make their portals, or prove that they have in court, by planting them at a suspected portal sight, painting patterns on their petals and searching for a 'twin' somewhere in the city.

There are secrets to discover about this plant!

Found: In noisy areas in the Scalvoris wilds. (e.g. mountains with howling winds, around loud animal's habitats, etc) Toxicity/Hazard: None Appearance: Like regular grass, but very long and black. Properties: This grass feeds on sound energy as well as light, giving it a noise-dampening property popular with alchemists for the ease in which it can be imbued into clothes to make them stealthier. However each blade of grass only absorbs a little bit of sound, so a large quantity of it and a lot of time to spend on repeated refinement is needed to make its property effective in a foreign source. Other Information: Herbivores that graze on this grass will temporarily go mute. If killed and cooked while in this state, their meat has a smooth aftertaste that is great for soothing sore throats.
Found: Only in the Scaltoth Jungle and may only be used there.
Toxicity/Hazard: None
Appearance: Enormous trees which soar high into the sky. Inside they are filled with a natural honeycomb-like series of "rooms" and "corridors". Throughout the Glowtree, inside and out, there are patches of it which glow, giving off a gentle and soothing light. The branches of the glowtree are home to a number of unique insects.
Properties: If felled these trees are a hard wood, pale inside with a dark bark. If the tree is felled, dead or a piece cut off for the glowing part, the glow stops the moment the tree dies. Other than the enormous honeycomb of rooms and the sheer size of the tree itself, it has no other properties.

There are secrets to be discovered about this flower!!
Found: Iocane blooms can typically only be found in the Sweetwine woods during warmer seasons though they have also been noted to appear in graveyards and other areas of high spectral activity. Toxicity/Hazard: While it is unlikely that this plant would be consumed in it's natural state due to it's durability, if consumed this plant has poisonous properties that can cause paralysis of the body which spreads to the lungs and heart after a break or so it not treated. Appearance: These flowers appear crystalline but their petals feel no different than a rose and their stems are no more sturdy than your average flower though it appears a beautiful gold. Properties: This flower has no smell, no taste, and few practical uses beyond it's beauty. When cutting force is applied to the flower it cuts like any other however when blunt force is applied to it, the flower acts like a strong glass. If enough force is applied it shatters. Alchemists and poisoners have discovered that this means the flower can be efficiently ground into a scentless, tasteless poison powder. This plant's crystalline appearance seems to deflect indirect light causing it to blend into its surroundings unless light is being directly shined on it in which case it refracts the light into a rainbow of colors. (Expert detection is needed to collect the plant, Competent strength needed to grind it into a powder.) Other Information: If your love rejected you after gifting them one of these it would be inconceivable.

There are secrets to be discovered about this flower!
Found: Returning Caps are extremely rare due to the conditions under which they grow. Firstly, they can only sprout from ground where blood has been spilled within the last 100 trials. Secondly, they can only sprout during a time in which exactly one moon is full in the sky and the others are not. Finally, they can only be found on nights with no wind, as even the slightest wind would destroy them. Toxicity/Hazard: Returning Caps are not toxic or hazardous in any reasonably obtainable amounts. Appearance: Returning Caps are small, no more than three inches tall. They have bright blue stems with white spots upon them. The cap is a luminescent white, similar to the moonlight they grow under. This glow is maintained so long as the mushroom is intact. Properties: Returning Caps are incredibly fragile. A slight wind or even a breath can cause the entire mushroom to crumble into tiny spores. However, it is the spores that contain the only known property of this mushroom. The spores when inhaled can dispel any hallucinations that an individual is currently experiencing, so long as the hallucinations are chemically induced, such as from a drug, plant, poison, natural brain chemistry disorders, etc and further prevent them for a full trial from the moment of inhalation. It is not yet discovered if they can dispel hallucinations caused by magical or divine means. It should be noted that this does not dispel other side effects of a substance that caused the hallucination. Other Information: It is said that the effect of being pulled from the hallucination often comes with a similar feeling to that of coming home from a distant journey, hence the name Returning Caps.

There are further secrets to discover about this mushroom
Found: The veternum plant requires vast amounts of shade to grow, and as such are only found in patches of the Scaltoth Jungle, the Sweetwine Woods, and in some areas of the foothills near the Scalvoris Mountains. It thrives in cold weather, typically blooming from late Vhalar until the end of Zi'da, though it is not unheard of for the plant to be found as late as Cylus or even the beginning of Ashan.
Toxicity/Hazard: The veternum plant is believed to be semi-sentient. When it detects a potential predator, a pollen cloud bursts forth in the direction of the perceived threat. Contact with exposed skin can cause numbness in the affected area; ingestion or inhalation of the pollen can cause a person or animal to lose consciousness. Both of these symptoms are temporary, but can expose the victim to predators and the elements while unable to move or protect themselves. The pollen is not, however, capable of penetrating even the lightest of fabrics.
Appearance: This plant has a thick purple and yellow stem with surrounding purple leaves. The upper petals conceal purple pollen.
Properties: The veternum plant is odourless and tasteless.
Other Information: The pollen from the veternum plant is the major ingredient in veternas, a medicine which can be used either as an anaesthetic or as a sedative.
Found: Azulin can be grown in gardens (master level gardening or higher required), but it is most commonly found growing in the wild. This flower likes partial sunlight and indirect light, so it is most often found in forests all over Scalvoris, and Scaltoth Jungle. Toxicity/Hazard: While not poisonous, anyone who isn't a master level gardener or master level in field craft is at high risk of triggering an explosion of pollen and suffering the effects of it while trying to approach the flower, or when encountering it in the wild. Appearance: The blossoms are the size of cantaloupes. The petals are a dark purple, bordering on black, and at the center, the flowers have a glowing core. Azulin grow close to the ground for the first arc. But they can reach a height of 3'0 if left alone for several arcs. Their leaves and stems are a dark emerald green. Properties: If jostled too much, these flowers will expel a large amount of pollen in an explosive cloud. Anything within three feet of the flower will be covered in pollen. The pollen has paralytic qualities that will leave anyone who inhales or injests it paralyzed within trills. But it does nothing to deaden the nerves, so although the victim is unable to move, they can still feel anything that happens to them. The pollen also contains hallucinogenic properties; the more pollen that is inhaled, the stronger the hallucinations become. Both the paralysis and the hallucinations will begin fading after a trial, and the victim will be fully recovered from the effects within three trials. It is said that people who experience these hallucinations will sometimes have true dreams of the future, but this has never been proven. Other Information: Azulin flowers are edible, and in fact are considered to be a delicacy. They have a delicate sweet aroma and flavor that make them a welcome addition to many deserts and fruit salads. But they are a fragile ingredient, so anyone with less than master level cooking/baking will not be able to use it properly. Anyone with less than expert level cooking/baking runs the risk of getting the pollen into their dishes and giving the people who eat their dishes hallucinations. All parts of this herb can be used to make drugs and medicines.
