"Magnificent. Majestic. I'd be very impressed. Don't you want to impress your wife-to-be?" Faith had whispered back, teasing Padraig while they made their way downstairs. Once they got down there, though, she listened to Nir'wei and nodded. "It does. It keeps for absolutely ages and, oh, this is wonderful. Thank you so much, my friend." She was about to get really excited and then Nir'wei lifted his arm and showed the bandages and so on and Faith looked at him with surprise in her expression. "Nir'wei, why didn't you show me that first? Sit down, let me look!" Faith could be very bossy when she needed to be and this appeared to be one of those moments as she fussed over her friend. If the wound was bad enough, she used Moseke's Light, her hands glowing slightly and that light moving to his wounds. If not, she fussed around, cleaning up the wound, applying some of the raft and so on. Whatever he needed, basically.
Then, she looked at Padraig and she smiled in delight, as much at his reaction as anything. He was caught in what Nir'wei had suggested and Faith's pleasure at that was obvious. "That sounds like a wonderful thing to do. And not only, if a way can be found, will he make them very interesting, they'll be the best made clothes you've ever worn." Faith promised and smiled at her friend as she slipped an arm around Padraig's waist. "Unless the professor here fancies trying his hand at sewing, which I highly doubt."
These were, in fairness, a truly thoughtful gift. Who would have thought it, she considered. Corpses. Oh'deer corpses as a wedding gift and two very delighted recipients. She moved and kissed Nir'wei on the cheek. "You shouldn't take such risks with yourself. You are far too precious a gift in your own right. But thank you." After all, he had his life back now and he could do with it what he wished. More than anything, he should live as he wanted and Faith felt an inordinate joy at the knowledge that he could and would.
"Come on then, you two," she said with a much more cheeky grin. "Lets get these home and start on getting the skins and meat separated out." And so, in fact, they would begin what was likely to be a long, but very productive, process.
