It has been trials upon trials inside this cell, but now he was not alone. Wald had a companion that did not seem to leave him. He would wake up and see the emerald eyes in the corner. The boy always seemed to be awake when Wald was. It was strange but it could be understandable, Wald might shake the chains when he awakens. That would make since in his mind at least. Tilting his head towards the child, he spoke with his normal softness. "Are you do... Are you do... Are you doing alright Rasul?" Voice was stammered due to his mental degradation. Though it did not bother the child any.
The slow shake of Rasul's head as he got up from the corner. "Yes I fine no worry." The boy spoke as he walked around the cell, seemingly more carefree then he was when they first meet. Something about Wald protecting him made him feel safer. It made Wald happy to see that.
Wald's eyes closed for a moment, as he tried to smile. The muscles on his face sore. "Did... Did you sleep al... Alright?"
When Wald opened his eyes again, Rasul was sitting back in his corner. "I sleep good." He began to walk across the room again, counting the stones on the walls. As he passed the dripping pool of water, no reflection could be seen. Though it was likely due to the dark of the room.
Wald slowly tried to get up to join the child, but the chains kept him down. A slow gaze was given to them, as he blinked slowly. He nearly forgot about the binds for a moment. It was easy for things to slip his mind now. A slow shake of the head to clear his head, as he looked back up Rasul back in his corner. "Do you... you know what today is?" Wald asked the child as he sat.
Rasul shook his head, this time staying where he was. "No know. Men come soon." Rasul said pointing to the iron gate that separated the room from the hall. As the gate slowly opened with a creak.
