Its Famously here! (Graded)

You read that right, F'mos.

Etzos, ‘The City of Stones’ is a fortress against the encroachment of Immortal domination of Idalos. Founded on the backs of mortals driven to seek their own destiny independent of the Immortals, the city has carved itself out of the very rock of the land. Scourged by terrible wars of extermination, they've begun to grow again, and with an eye toward expansion, optimism is on the rise.

That specific trial was a trial of celebration for many reason or at least that was how F'mos chose to spread the word of the famous new restaurant in Etzos. A different dish each trial by its proprietor, a man who has traveled all over Idalos for all it would offer- culinarily of course. Not that it was any true, just like the identity of its proprietor who stepped foot into the city over an arc ago but it did its job. Or maybe the reason there was the beginnings of a line being formed was because of the offer F'mos had for his grand opening. 'Free dessert after your meal!' with a stipulation that it would occur at a certain time. Unbeknownst to him, the chance element was probably one of the reasons why the offer got a lot more appealing other than it being free but still...

The aukari had a lot of other things in play to attract his customers and, to get the most out of that first day experience which may very well determine the rest of the life of his business.

However that was not the only consideration he had to that trial. Even if he was able to get customers through that door, he needed to be able to keep them as well. Not to keep them in within his walls for as long as the store was opened for the trial, that went against his own business strategy for his own profit. It was to keep them coming to F'mos Ate Most in the future as one of their choices of eateries to frequent. Some choice dishes were prepared, a sampling of but the daily dishes which would be available in the restaurant. Along with them in the partially cleared out ground floor are some nick nacks F'mos was able to acquire during his travels, or so he claims. Would anyone actually be able to dispute that? Hopefully not.

But even if someone did, would that even matter? It might make for some entertainment to the rest of his visitors. Entertainment would be another thing F'mos had to be sure was ready which he looked over on the roof. There was the one thing he had prepared by himself in anticipation of the trial though the other thing he employed was nowhere to be found. He could only trust it was out there at work and would return to the restaurant on time. The space on the top was arranged by the increasingly anxious aukari and his assistants before he left it to the rest of them and returned to the ground floor.

As it turned out he was not the only one who was restless as the forming crowd in the front was getting a little rowdy, some asking about the food and others about desserts, if they were not the clueless who joined in after they found the energy and excitement which surrounded the new place; not that bad really for F'mos who really wanted as many customers he could get. It was their rowdiness which would be a problem as, there were some things he already had difficulty clearing just for the opening and he did not need the Black Guard around to shut him down on the first day.

Still even though it was close, the appointed time was not yet there. With only a few bits left and maybe some more just in case, the aukari told his waiting visitors, "settle down, we opening soon. Look around, remember this place so you know where you can be eatings when hungry. And enjoy.
I'll be back soon,"
before he went back through the front doors.

Its Famously here!

Word got around of a man dressed in a peculiar outfit. A man wearing red and green tights, a red and green shirt, and green shoes with curly tips. With each step he took, the small bells attached to his clothes jingled and jangled, turning heads and drawing attention.

That on its own would have been peculiar enough. It wasn’t a getup one would usually wear to traverse the streets of Etzos. The man wore something else as well though. Covering his front and backside were two large billboards, large letters painted on top of it that spelled out a message. The name of a restaurant, as well as the opportunity to score some free dessert. Those who saw him also saw the advertisement, and soon enough the news spread through the streets and alleys, entering the ears of men, women, and children.

Some went looking for the restaurant, others for the man. The latter group wanted to confirm the outfit and the message, to make sure it wasn’t some half-baked rumor blown out of proportion by old wives and gossipmongers.

Turned out the rumors were a watered down version of the truth this time around.

The oddly-dressed man couldn’t be found wandering the cobbled stones. Instead, he was seen on the rooftops, marching above the city streets, apparently ignoring the few Blackguard that told him to get down. Well, most didn’t really care anyway. They yelled warnings at him because they felt they should, but none was willing to put in the effort of dragging him back down to the ground. And so his trek over the rooftops continued.

Until he stopped at the edge of a square, right in front of a rope secured on opposite sides of the square. Taut as it might be, the wind still played with it, making it sway and tremble as it hung idly in the air.

Even from down below, the people whose interest had been piqued –both those who had just noticed the man, and those who had followed him through the streets as he walked across the roofs—could see him grin the widest of grins.

Oberan had been paid for a publicity stunt, and no one could accuse him of not delivering.

The first few steps were easy enough, the anchor points of the suspended rope were close enough by so the wind couldn’t really tug at it too much. Feeling his confidence swell and bloat, the Mortalborn slowly walked on, arms stretched to the side. The billboards on his body caught a lot of wind, but at least they weren’t on his sides, as it would have made things rather difficult, if not impossible.

All the while, he looked at his feet –and by extension the crowd below—and sang (or more accurately, yelled out of tune):

“F’mos Ate the Most
With F’mos as your host
Every trial a different dish
Totrial it might be fish
Tomorrow it could be meat
So come and have a seat
F’mos, F’mos!
F’mos Ate The Most!”

Adruria hadn't even been in the city for very long, when a great commotion started. Talks of a new restaurant buzzed between people everywhere. Every street and alley were full of noise, the Naer knew this after getting lost several times just today alone. However she had asked the guard about finding something to eat... He had neglected to mention this to her. After a check of her coin purse she smiled and followed the throngs of people. This would be interesting...

The crowd of people Adruria was following suddenly stopped in their tracks, their heads were turned upward at something. For such a 'no nonsense' city things seemed very... nonsense-ish... Perhaps it was one of the few times the people were alloyed to be this way. With a soft giggle Adruria turned her head up to see what had stole the crowd's attention. It took her a bit to process what was going on. What in the name of the Shadow Mother was going on?! A man wearing a court jester's clothes was running atop the roofs of a line of buildings. "Get down from there!" a man nearby yelled halfheartedly at the man, but nothing more happened. What an idiot, running around on roofs... That one should really be kept in chains... If he did that in Augiery... As if the jester heard her thoughts and decided to push his luck, he began yelling in a sing-songy fashion.

Adruria shook her head. She needed to get out of this- whatever this was. Turning to a person next to her she decided to ask, "We are hungry. Could you point us in the right direction? We thank you." After the stranger next to her pointed her in the right way Adruria was off. The Naer continued on with the mass of people, elbowing the occasional idiot who got too rambunctious or cut her off. She was hungry and now was slightly irritated. The only thing that made her mood better was arriving at the cause of all the hullabaloo, the restaurant. This would be her first meal in the city and no doubt it would either add or lessen her view of Etzos.

As he was on the roof to lookout for Oberan, F'mos should have easily spotted the man hired to bring the crowd- if he had not only kept his eyes on the ground. He watched the oncoming crowd and felt rather proud of the effort used to get them to his door, his own effort he believed, as there was no sign of the other man. That was, until he saw the excitement in the crowd and some of theme with their attention directed to the top of some building they pointed at. A building which was not even his restaurant. That was odd...

And then he noticed the man... "could it be...?" Yes, it was as the aukari thought he saw. It was the very same outfit Oberan used when F'mos first watched the man's performance at Kyin's talent show seasons past.

Oberan definitely earned the prize he was promised. He did a better job than F'mos expected as even the Blackguards followed the spectacle- their yells a perfect indicator of their feelings of a man taking to the rooftops. While the Blackguards on their own were nothing to worry about as any decent merchant would welcome the added protection, F'mos dreaded the possibility of an incident involving some of his associates from the Curly Hare but, coin was coin and if they became regulars it would the possibility of trouble worthwhile.

He only had to get through the trial first, he kept telling himself.

An incident from the Naerrik would be more likely as the race was less... popular that season but she blended in well that she looked like any other sack of coin to the aukari. Instead of the usual unruly mob Etzos as a result, F'mos only had to deal with a crowd restless from the wait. He had however the perfect thing to remedy that situation. Over the trials he worked on this one batch of items, actually, a modification of one of his own tools. Etzos with its mines gave him a wide variety of metals to use and the combination of some after exposed to enough heat, released bright sparkles of colours.

In the specially made containers set off from his roof, the alchemist's creations rocketed up into the air with a 'wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee' before it exploded into a loud and bright shower of colours. After a few bits of the display, the doors to the 'F'mos Ate Most' finally opened for the owner himself to let in the hungry and curious in. "Price is on the sign" he said as he pointed to the left "and, we got fish, meat, salads" at 3, 5 and 1 gn respectively that trial. Because of the special occasion, water was free- with every order of course.

With that he took the opportunity to sell his restaurant to the visitors as he spoke of other dishes which he would have and the facilities like "upstairs, you can eat with view." While Oberan was free to eat and mingle with the other guests, his job was far from complete as F'mos eventually instructed the man to "keep guests happy and entertained here or if you bored, bring more guests in from outside." Guests were another thing which kept F'mos busy as he checked the line periodically to usher in some special guests past the queue. There were some which were recognized like the two (in)famous birds and then some, which looked as if they did not belong; not in the restaurant or anywhere else.

There were of course the guests which did not need their presence in the restaurant to be explained, like the couple F'mos was indebted to until he was able to open his own establishment. With their blessing, the aukari even had that 4 sn stewpot at the side. Another fine dish 'F'mos Ate Most' offered. However it was the most important guest who was brought in with some fanfare with the assistance of Oberan, which was a girl no one would even recognize. She however will help F'mos demonstrate yet another fine feature to his restaurant.

After he had the floor's attention, he announced, "everyone, this is Lizzie. It's her birthday today and she will be celebrating it at... our special private room inside!" which if no one noticed, was a room which was previously shut from anyone else. For her special day the room was not as it should be normally furnished, just a nice chair with some tables on the sides- one full of treats and one empty for some reason. Then came the announcement everyone would be waiting for as after F'mos said "I hope you'll all help celebrate her special day with her," the aukari revealed another bunch of dishes, the promised dessert. Sweet and tasty fruit salad.

With the flares of colors and sparkles that lit up the dark Cylus sky, the restaurant was declared officially opened, and the crowd wormed itself inside. Those who had gathered out of interest in the establishment impatiently pushed forward like a tidal wave, pulling those who actually did not want to be there inside as well. At least F’mos would have customers, and –more importantly—Oberan would get paid.

The jester cast off the billboards, rolling his shoulders a couple times to fend off the stiffness that was threatening to seep into his bones. He massaged his flesh to coax his blood back into the area the ropes had dug into, and swung his arms back and forth for a few brief trills. Oberan could feel his joints work in a most pleasing way. He made a satisfied noise, nodding to himself.

His instructions weren’t very descriptive, but the vagueness left him a huge amount of freedom to do as he pleased. As long as the guests were happy, of course. However, with his jester’s motley he could do and say whatever, and though some might get annoyed, he figured most would let him get away with it. Why? Because he was a clown.

So he made his way into the restaurant itself, and positioned himself somewhere in the middle where he had some room. There he placed a large terracotta flowerpot, with a lot of flair and theatricalities, making a show of positioning it just right. He adjusted it multiple times, stepped back to observe it from many different angles through a rectangle he made with his fingers, moved the pot a tiny bit to the left or right, and repeated the process multiple times.

Then, he left a few bits and returned with a bag, which he placed on the ground next to the flowerpot, and rustled through its contents for a bit. For a moment he paused, slowly letting his gaze wander through the room, before sticking one hand in first, and then another. Another pause, and the Mortalborn stepped into the flowerpot, his hands still covered with the bag. Oberan bent at the waist to put the bag between his feet, and as he straightened back up, he raised his hands above his head. Each hand was grabbing a large amount of dried Vhalar leaves, surrounding the whole extremity like a pompon. He didn’t say anything. His face didn’t show a smile or a grin. He just stood there, in the flowerpot, arms outstretched above his head.

Oberan was now a potted plant.

Adruria visibly flinched and covered her head. She had not been expecting bright lights to begin raining down on her. Clearly shaken she hurried inside, the light couldn't swallow her up inside. Inside was quite crowded, gaining composure she found an empty table and made herself at home.As people passed she gave everyone a look that said, "Don't you dare sit by me." It wasn't out of spite or arrogance, the lights had just taken the energy out of her. As people passes by she listened to what they said and all praised the colored lights, apparently the sky lights had done what they were suppose to do.

Adruria had no intention of leaving her seat, however after the owner spoke she decided to meet him. Getting up from her seat, she made her way to the proprietor of the restaurant with a feeling of some confidence. She debated how to gain his attention without frightening him. She gently reached out and tapped the man on the shoulder, "Excuse us, this is our first day in this city and very hungry we are." She smiled as gentle as she could. "But, we just wanted to say what a nice place this is." Adruria gestured around the room. "Anyway, we are Adruria. We wish you good luck with your business and we hope to eat here often. That is all we wished to say." With that she returned to her seat and waited to place her order.

Feeling more at ease Adruria began to look at the people around her, none were her sisters. But she had expected that. She turned her attention to a pretty young woman sitting among her friends. They seemed to be a happy bunch. Her attention bounced from person to person, enjoying her people watching. Until.....

The rooftop jester walked in and Adruria's mood worsened. She enjoyed humor but not this stupidity. Nobody else seemed to mind the man, she could of been overreacting... This was a strange place she had never been before. Yes, this was new city jitters. She watched the jester preform his routine with her chin rested in her hand with a somewhat blank look on her face. She gave an exasperated sigh, apparently the jester was a plant now... Good for him. She finally was able to place her order, fish.

We? Us? That was strange coming from the woman who was alone but F'mos was not about to comment on it. It would not do for him to scare off a potential regular on his first day. Instead he returned her smile with one of her own along with a "thank you. I'm F'mos, of F'mos Ate Most" if it was not obvious already. Saying that for the immortals knew how many times already was tiresome but it was expected in the line he has chosen and like many other times that trial, the aukari wished "I hope you'll come back many, many times and have good luck in Etzos." She was going to need it. It was funny how everyone else seemed to treat him differently now when barely a season ago they would openly express their loathing of non humans.

And then he watched as the woman headed back to her seat where again, there was no one else with her. It was getting much more curiouser but he remembered Adruria's admission that it was only her first day in Etzos and realized maybe the strange comments were referred to herself. Despite his own boasts for the restaurant's he definitely was not well traveled to know her origins and at the end of the day, he was not one to judge the foreigner's Common.

With plenty of other customers to deal with, F'mos left the woman alone as he entertained the rest; followed by Lizzie's party or he would have an earful. Thankfully, Oberan did his job well in his odd... show? Whatever it was, it sure did the job of keeping the customers interested and curious, enough to keep them around longer to spectate. It kept them up with more orders for food which meant more profits and nothing F'mos could complain about until his brain could no longer reconcile the potted plant. He tried to leave the jester alone but when the customers grew disinterested with a tree thing which did nothing, the owner had no choice but to intervene despite him giving Oberan the freedom to do whatever he wanted earlier.

He tried to remain tactful when he agreed it did the job to draw customers to him but the skepticism F'mos had was obvious when he suggested that Oberan try something which could engage the customers more. He pointed to the few seated close by just a while ago already ready to pay up and leave and hoped the jester understood. With Oberan's assurances, the new restaurateur was confident enough to leave the tree to its own devices as he continued to make sure his restaurant and the birthday girl would have a memorable day. It was the third time she requested for the jester to entertain her guests.

But maybe... he should not have asked for it to be that memorable... Lucky Oberan had no time to reach Lizzie's party yet.

It was naive the alchemist thought he was the only person with gimmicks in his staged spectacles and the realization made it easy to conclude the odd event happened through some device of Oberan. Still he was confused like plenty of the other customers at the sudden appearance though Lizzie and her friends immediately went to play with, seemingly out of nowhere from the ceiling, snow. He sprinkled a little into his mouth before he suspiciously eyed Oberan. It was undoubtedly snow and the other customers were already worked up about it though the party kids had started on the base of a snow fort. With the need to get things back under control, Oberan was lucky F'mos was too busy with a solution which slapped him in the face, like a fish.

He quickly instructed Max to prepare the fish- not to cook, but prepare them according to his specifications. Then he had Jimmy take inventory of the fruit on the counter and in storage. Whilst he waited he tried to keep the crowd calm, likening the snow to the light show he put on earlier for the festivities, and had Oberan to do the same before he disappeared for a few bits.

As he knew assurances meant nothing and demonstrated with a bowl filled with a few pieces of cut fruit around it. The bowl was used to scoop up a pile of snow before a thick, brightly coloured liquid was splashed on top of it. It was fortunate according to Max, there were plenty of fruit and condiments which F'mos needed and along with time, the aukari was set. The cut fruit was dumped into boiling water along with some sugar and the chef had his syrup after the pasty mixture cooled; the first batch out quick enough within bits to stop the customers which were trickling out.

No need to serve the dessert as being free, he considered self serve enough to lighten the workload of he and his underlings and, discourage the lazy from getting more. Only a few guests he served specifically it to, one being Adro? Alluvia? "Adoria." Well, close enough and more importantly "your dessert and meal." It was no razorfin which would have been excellent, but it was still fish. Buried in the lump of snow was pieces of sliced up fish, raw, but properly cleaned out and seasoned for taste. Her special treatment was of course deserved. It was the orders of fish which directed him to use it and as the next one to be served, F'mos obviously had to make sure the woman accepted it.

If she had her reservations he would quickly quiet her with a joyous distraction of "you just come to Etzos, yes? Where you come from? Why you come here before a suggestion that "you maybe want to give new things a try. You don't know what you'll find, yes?" With other orders to fulfill, he left the woman to enjoy her meal with a request that "when you done, you can tell me how your first day in Etzo- F'mos Ate Most has been. Good for making things better" though in reality, it was perhaps newcomers which are the best resources a person may find.

Its Famously here!

It was naïve to think that Bran’s avant garde ideas would be liked by the barbarian primitives this restaurant was catering to. What they wanted was more of the same, not something new that hadn’t been done before. ‘A man standing in a pot, pretending to be a plant? Preposterous! Ridiculous! That was not entertainment! Doing some flips in the center of the room, now that was entertaining, that was what we wanted to see.’

Fucking mortals. He shouldn’t have expected those inferior beings to get the genius of his act. The subversion of expectation, the building of anticipation that ultimately led to an anti-climax, only for it to bloom into something that twisted it into something terribly exciting. But no, the mortals couldn’t wait that long. The mortals grew bored. They didn’t see the appeal, couldn’t see the intricacies of the act. All they saw was the beginning, figured it was the end, and based their opinion on that faulty assumption.

What did he expect? With their lifespan of a couple dozen arcs, they weren’t able to fully develop their mental capabilities, nor their patience.

The fact that his employer chose to side with them was even more infuriating. The man tried to be tactful about it, but Oberan’s expression soured nonetheless. He understood, he told the owner of the restaurant, yes, he would do something else. Yes, no more tree. Something more exiting, yes yes, good. Of course. No, no problem. Mhmm. No, no, the customers needed to be entertained if they wanted them to stay, yes, he understood.

Oberan swore under his breath when the owner walked away, shooting a dirty glare at the man and the customers who were in the middle of leaving. They stood behind their chairs, putting on their vests and jackets. The Mortalborn dropped his leaves, stepped out of the pot, and took a deep breath in through his nose, then letting it escape through his mouth in an annoyed sigh.

With little flourish he backflipped onto the table of the leaving people, feet touching down in the middle of the tabletop. He avoided planting his shoes in the empty plates, nor did he knock over the mugs and other drinking utensils. However, a spoon was launched into the sky, twirling and spinning. Oberan reached out to snatch it out of the air, managing to touch it, then needing to use his other hand to grab it as it was knocked out of position. He juggled it accidentally by simply being unable to get a good grip on the spoon before he was finally able to close his fingers around the handle, and pose like a general who’d just given the order to attack.

“You’re all pieces of shit,” he shouted in Grevokian as he swished the spoon into figure eight’s like a wand. A rush of power blasted forward in all directions like a sudden gust of wind, though it moved nothing, rustled no clothes or hair, created no ripples on liquids. It was more of a pressure that was momentarily felt. A tingling sensation running through the people within range, like a wave of goosebumps coursing over the skin.

For a moment, nothing happened, and then the first flakes of snow began drifting down. They were soon followed by more and more white fluffy flakes joined the first, until it seemed like a very snowy trial, only it was snowing inside, with the flakes apparently coming out of the ceiling.
As expected, this was TOO much excitement for the lowest common denominator present in the diner, with chaos erupting everywhere. And of course, F’mos came to tell him off again, wanting to get the situation back under control.

Bah.

“Nothing to worry about folks,” he spoke, scooping up some of the snow that was accumulating on his table and molding it into a ball. “It’s just a little parlor trick I set up earlier. Got me some alchemic special effects for the show, hand crafted by the Hero Doran himself. One-hundred and ten percent safe, I assure you.” He grinned widely, throwing up his snowball and catching it, before chucking it into the crowd, aiming for no head in particular.

“I bet none of you can manage to hit me with a snowball!” he taunted.

As Adruria sat contently, until a voice boomed in Grovokian the tongue of her sisters. Imediatly she sought out who had spoken throwing out swears to the patrons. And it, of course was being spewed by the jester now standing atop a table with a spoon. "Speak for yourself, jester!" she loudly retorted in her mother tongue. It was creepy he spoke the Naerikk's langue. Her langue. She made sure to make herself scarce when the jester looked around to see who had answered him.

Trying to sink into the background Dru focused her attention on her silverware. For a moment everything sat in mid silence. Something small fell on Adruria's head to which she brushed out of her hair. But then, another something landed on her head. And another. The Naer lifted her head upward to find the source of whatever landed on her head. Snow, it was snow. The other patrons began to erupt into panic until the jester announced it was part of his act. Adruria rolled her eyes, playing with the snow on her table. However when the jester made his claim, she decided to prove him wrong. She'd have to be quick and seat herself again right away after as to not be seen by said jester. He turned his head away from where she sat and she quickly acted swiftly throwing the snow ball at the back of the jester's head. Sitting down right away she wasn't sure if she'd hit him or not.

Watching what was going on around her, Adruria began to daydream until a voice called her name..kinda.. She turned to see the owner himself with her meal. She giggled, "Do you treat every pretty Naer this well or is it just us? Just Dru is fine." A bit of mild flirting never hurt and besides this man had just opened a restaurant and was due some praise. Taking her fork and knife she cut a piece of the fish into small lady like bites and began to eat. The owner began to ask her questions, she was new around her it was expected. She smiled, "Don't worry yourself... The fish is delicious! As far as your curious questions... It's our first day here and we hail from Augiery. As for why this city... We don't really know, but why not? We like to see new places." The Naer nodded at the owner's advice as she was eat another piece of the fish. Once finished she responded, "We will tell you about our experience as you wish." She smiled at the man and returned to her fish as he walked away.

F'mos had done a wonderful job with her fish. Adruria would of never guessed it would be iced fish, but it was a good change to what she had recently been eating. Even though she still had some fish left which she would eat, Dru eyed the fruit flavored ice treat like a child would eye their dessert halfway through their dinner. Just a taste and then back to her fish was her thought as she took a small bit from the bowl and tasted it. F'mos could of just handed her an apple for dessert and she would of been thrilled, so this dish was wonderful to the Naer who wore a large smile.

Its Famously here!

Even if she was pretty, a naer was nothing but trouble that season unfortunately and the fact Dru was not aware of it was proof enough to her claim it was only her first day in Etzos. His own worries of the woman being loose in divulging her own identity, especially in his newly opened store which has enough problems because of suspicions of his own race were not exhibited however. The aukari instead reached for the naer's hand as if to reinforce her own provocative query. Even if she chose to instead thwart him, his goal was never to indulge the flirt but rather to seize her attention before Dru could start on her meal. Putting off his concern would be impractical and to interrupt her once she begun eating was in the chef's opinion, rude.

Regardless while she was still apprehended by this act, F'mos would proceed to get himself closer. Nothing so rascally because of his desires but just for the aukari to say, "Etzos not like naer now. Schemes, murders; the shadowy things people say they do lately" and all unpleasant business he would prefer to not have his restaurant accused as being a part of if he could help it. It would make the actual shadowy business hidden beneath the entity known as F'mos Ate Most easier to be revealed. To make the ever present threat more real to the woman, he added "it all not pretty like you... so if you go telling everyone you are Naerrik here, Dru, it be bad for you." It was all normal after that, no threat of racist bigots in the mood for some 'justice' as they believed it to be.

Just the normal conversation a new store owner would have with a brand new customer after she arrived at Etzos.

By then, the snowball fight had already built up into a... significant concern which was only a good thing because it would distract most of the people at the restaurant if they were the nosy sorts which would try to listen into Adruria's origins. But that also would have F'mos distracted as he would ask the naer to "excuse me a moment" as he went for some damage control. He did not have to stop the snowball fight, it was just the sort of energy he needed to have injected into the restaurant which made it the reason Oberan was money well spent as long as he could intervene the games progressed even further. "You break it, you buy it. Otherwise, have fun!" he announced before he made a show of looking around for the Black Guard which came for the opening.

It was his own restaurant so any damage by him would not be something he would be concerned of- had it been done by someone else as a snowball hidden behind him was raised with ceremony and tossed at the direction of his hired entertainer to illustrate. With that performance Oberan should be able get out of the way without any difficulty. Where behind the man was nothing but wall as F'mos choose to wait for until it was reached as Oberan baited the rest of his guests, the aukari truly had nothing to worry about any damage from himself. From the others however, he had his two hirelings quickly come to him as he instructed them to hide away all the more fragile items they had... at least for as long as the snow lasted in his shop.

As persuaded, F'mos returned to smiling naer after he had dealt with Oberan's snowy complication for her feedback. If her expression was anything to go by he would not have even needed to ask except to glean a more accurate account from her. "Well, how was it?" he asked.
