	Barony of von Smooglenuff	Situated on Faldrass, the three new Barons have had the Manor rebuilt and are beginning form connections with Saoire's Dreams and Hopetoun. Roads have been built between the Manor, Hopetoun and the southern dock of Faldrass Baron Devin offered to treat the students of Saoire's school and the residents of Hopetoun Baron Devin helped finish the roads Baron Devin has improved relations between the Barony and Spirit's Rest Oasis. Baron Devin planned and hosted the "Winter Wonderland" event at Smooglenuff Manor, benifitting Spirit's Rest! Baron Devin was instrumental in the vineyard collaboration between the Barony and Cally's. Baron Darius, with the crew of the Libertalia, defended Faldrass' coast from pirates! Baron Devin moved his parents into the Manor The Barony has retained the services of a highly skilled engineer to assist with projects. Professor Doran Thetis from Viden has been giving guest lectures, strengthening the ties between the two institutions. The University is also building relationships with Desnind. Established a research station in the Haven settlement on Faldrass. Actively investigating the situation with the 'time ship' and the people that arrived on it in Zi'da.
	Almund	Situation: Economic down-turn following the Faldrass situation - and the arrival of Saoire has made the darker side of Scalvoris rather cautious. As well, increasing resementment towards the city as reports of pirate sightings rises.
	Beacon	Situation: Many of the refugees from Faldrass are here. The place is thriving. Subtle unrest in the area from the previous cycle has significantly improved. New refugees from the 'time ship' arrived and the people of Beacon are helping them get settled.
	Darbyton	Situation: Darbyton helped a lot with the Faldrass relief effort, and many of the people who left Faldrass early on moved into Darbyton. Population has increased significantly and the removal of the strangle-hold of the Logging Consortium is a very positive thing.
	Egilrun	Situation: Prospering - a lot of the crafters are looking at Faldrass and the new opportunities there. Home to the newest chapter of the Order of the Adunih. Rumors of a growing rift in Egilrun between the Rangers and EWWW. The events of Slag's Deep, the Forging and Liza's disapearance frayed the nerves of many prominent members of the community and is having lasting effects. Slag's Deep is now empty. Woe Morandi opened a new business and has been appointed Egg on the Scalvoris Council.
	Gunvorton	Gunvorton has taken in a lot of refugees. Shania is a leading force in this.
	Harvardr	Situation: Linca has stepped down from the Council, citing infighting and wishing to devote all his energy to Harvardr.
	Faldrass	Situation: Saoire's School is still flourishing. The Badlands are reported to be shrinking by the trial! Roads have been built between the Manor, Hopetoun, and the southern dock. A new vineyard at the Manor! Hopetoun is thriving and Haven is progressing well. Whispers abound that pirates have Faldrass in their sights. The Shellknight Lodge was built by Kisaik!
	Immortals Tongue	Situation: The old Devout, Rez'na, remains on Immortals' Tongue, there are increased visitors there following the situation in Faldrass for the last few cycles. The most popular shrines are Saoire's, Xiur's, and Cassion's. Cassion's shrine is also reported to be tended by Champions of his.
	Ishallr	Situation: There is increased interest in Ishallr due to the existence of the Induk within the Island.
	Scaltoth Jungles	Situation: There is increased interest in Scaltoth due to the existence of the Induk.
	Scalvoris Mountains	Situation: There is increased interest in the Mountains due to the Heart of Scalvoris and are looking for it, but no one seems to know where it is! The Vault has opened, but is under guard. Only vetted and accompanied people are being allowed inside.
	Sweetwine Woods	Situation: Rumors of a tunawa working with turtles have been heard. Unusual spike in thwarthide hunting activity prompts heightened alert among Rangers and settlements close to the Sweetwine. There is increased interest in Sweetwine due to the existence of the Induk.
	The Tower	No one has visited the tower for some time. Is there anything strange going on? No one knows......
	Treid's Mouth	The eruption of Faldrass has caused some of the icebergs here to melt a little. What will that mean? .
	Watch	It was discovered that Watchman Philip Carey was murdered and flayed by a mage. What's up with that? What was the motive behind the attack? The Elements and Balthazar investigated but nothing conclusive came of it.

Have you just completed a thread which might have an impact on Scalvoris in some way? Or are you planning on one which could make a difference? Great! We love to hear about those kinds of threads. If you have a thread which fits the bill, please post below. Then, a Scalv Mod will determine the impact and will post it here.

If it is a single thread, post here. If it's a plot or group of threads, please post an overview of the whole plot and all threads involved. Thank you!

All threads can go here, regardless of their date. The moderation team will deal with them!

When Do I Post Here?
You post in the impact threads if:

1. The thread / story will impact Scalvoris, potentially. There's a question in the code below that says "how will this impact Scalv" - if your answer is "it won't" then don't post here. If there is any impact - put it in and if needs be I'll just say "there's none" on it. Whether it receives renown or not!

2. If you didn't think it did have any impact but, when it's been reviewed, it gets 10 or more renown.

Please remember. I would rather you post here and I modnoted "no impact" on it than you didn't put up something I would have wanted to see.

Think of it as a means of letting me know what's happening on Scalv this season, to inform the calendar next season.

Base question to consider - have you made an impact? If it's on one person or ten, then I'd rather hear about it. I'm quite happy to put "No Impact" if it doesn't have any. But I'd hate to miss something that your PC should be known for.

How Does It Impact The Calendar?
1. It impacts the "State of Play" post of the Calendar. This is the post which gives you the common knowledge/ overview / general attitude in Scalv towards people, places, groups, magics, and Immortals.
2. As a PC your reputation can be impacted Positively or Negatively. The impact might be small, medium, or large. You'll be told in the modnote.
3. In the "State of Play" a PCs reputation is determined by 2 things.
-- The impact threads listed here.
-- The PC activity (if you do one good thing once, then aren't seen again for 3 cycles - no more impact / reputation)

If in doubt - please ask. We would ALWAYS rather that you submitted a thread and we said "No Impact" than you didn't submit one you could have! Thanks!

Overview / Details: Balthazar leads his mercenary company to the mountains to investigate the rumors about the metal that was discovered there. He finds the university has set up an extensive mining operation and when the leader of the operation refuses to come to an agreement that Balthazar finds acceptable, Balthazar and his people leave. However before leaving, Balthazar attunes to the camp so he can keep an eye on their progress as long as they don't move.
What impact do you think this might have?: It will probably impact Balthazar's reputation/relationship with the University. It also confirms that someone is actually doing something about the metal in the mountains so it shouldn't be a mystery in the coming arcs.
Anything else you want to tell us?: It was suggested I submit the final thread, so I submit the whole series.

Overview / Details: The master duelist Jessil Del Gentel challenges Devin to a duel to the first blood, to see who is the better swordsman. Devin accepts. He invites Jessil to dinner, because he always feeds his guests, but also because he wants to find out if Jessil has any weaknesses that he can take advantage of. Jessil is very impressed with the manor and its residents! Of course, the duel isn't just a duel. Devin turns it into a small event. A number of residents of the Barony, including Devin's parents, watch, and there are food and drinks for everyone. The duel ends with a draw, and Jessil flirts with a lot of people, including Devin, Devin's roommate and the cook who is at least ten arcs older than he is!
What impact do you think this might have?: Devin becomes known as a skilled swordsman. He managed a draw against a master duelist!
Anything else you want to tell us?: This is the result of a consequence Pig Boy gave me here. I got 10 Renown for the final thread in this series!

Woe finds the tree that Faith Augustin grew with her Sevrath abilities, and tries to speak to it, to find out more about what happened on the eve of the Collapse. The impression of the four elemental masks forms at the base of the tree.
What impact do you think this might have?: I'm not sure, but Woe and Doran spoke to the Caretaker. It'll be known that Woe and Doran investigated the Lefleur sisters.
Anything else you want to tell us?: My cat's breath smells like cat food.
