Appearance
Torqin is on the upper end of the Lotharro height spectrum, and carries it with confidence. His skin is dark, and he keeps his head shaved, preferring to tone down some of the more feral aspects of his race. He trains rigorously to keep his body strong, and is very proud of his musculature. He keeps the hair on his body, for who really has time for that much grooming when you can just cover it with nice clothes? He keeps his teeth clean, his nails trimmed, and his clothes clean. His eyes are dark brown, his smile wide and quite the common sight. He wears the nicest clothes that he can afford, and his boots, armor, and weapons always carry a shine.
Personality
Torqin is a sociable person, greeting most people with a broad, seemingly genuine smile, often accompanied with a handshake, shoulder clasp, or a hug. He enjoys the finer things in life, having always inspired to better and more in his life. And while he is polite, talkative, and friendly to people, he trusts no one, with one exception. He only trusts Celeste Andaris. Everyone else is kept at a polite reach. He never talks about himself much, nor his past, often changing the subject. He's hard working, but knows the pleasure of leisure.
History
Torqin was born to Jholengrier and Amyriah in Rynmere. His father was a stable keeper for the Aestedian Estate's stables. His mother was a shield smith in Drakengard. His parents weren't especially close, so Torqin lived with his father, and helped him as a stable boy. During this upbringing, his father taught him many things, from the basic care of animals, to self defense. But more importantly, he taught him how to survive in a place such as Rynmere. He taught him how to be polite and friendly to everyone, how to always be presentable, and to always protect a noble in trouble.
And one fateful evening, Torqin had to protect Celeste from her own father. And it cost him dearly. (Details forthcoming in a Memory Thread with Celeste). He left Rynmere and his family behind, making for the Eastern Territories. While there, as a young man, he did what he needed to do to survive. At first it was hard, and he had to take many unsavory jobs, some illegal. But he kept at it, always remembering the lessons his father. One day, he decided that he wanted more from his life. And everyone knew that money was the only way to get more.
So Torqin returned to Rynmere, to seek out Celeste, and start a new life, as a grown man.
