Okie lovely people - I'm going to try and maintain a monthly update on things which are happening - there'll be info and some statistics etc.


Voting!
Massive thanks to Tech Guy for his anti-bot script! It means that we (seem to) have stopped the bots that were getting through. This means that our analytics data is meaningful (or more meaningful) - so we're going to try and keep up our daily voting on RPGFix ( here ) and TopRP Sites ( here ) up for a few months. At that point, we'll be able to see if voting there makes a difference to people finding the site.

Please do vote daily - mods will be giving reminders in chats and - if we hit milestones in November, there'll be some rewards next month!


Threads & Reviews
Sometimes, it's easy to get so focused on our own individual stuff that the big picture gets lost.

So - going on my own timezone - the first review request in October was this one - it's for The Long Moo: An Oram Mednix Mystery .

Since that review request, we've had 96 threads put up for review, up to this one by Kalortah, who's had his portrait painted. Our reviewers are amazing and there are only 4 threads waiting for review.

Of course, this number doesn't include any moderated thread reviews etc.

The PSF
We've answered & closed 63 PSF tickets in October.

Wiki Workers
Our Wiki Workers work really hard behind the scenes - they've uploaded Dragons, dealt with a load of character wikis, put events up on the wiki and have been fundamental in keeping records up to date. The Global is up on the Wiki thanks to them!

Announcements!
We made a change to the Skill: Teaching to actually make a difference to learning.
We also simplified Startup and gave some XP and knowledge to existing PCs!

What We Are Working On!
Currently, we're working on the following:

• Giving feedback for Dragon Effigies - they're written, but they're still in the feedback process. This is being headed up by Basilisk.
• Darius is leading on trying to streamline the languages we have on Idalos - on giving them descriptions and so on.
• We're working on simplifying the Shoppe - on making 1 page per Wealth Tier that gives you an overview of that Tier, and the Shoppe only being for buying things outside your Tier.
• Munchkin is working on Sovereign - this is in the feedback stage and is nearly ready to go!

Please do vote daily - mods will be giving reminders in chats and - for November we were 6th in Fantasy on TopRP sites. We were third on RPGFix when voting closed, but they haven't yet announced Game of the Month.

Since the last community update

- 172 threads have had at least one post in them (Of course, this number doesn't include any moderated thread reviews etc)
- we've had 62 review requests - there are currently only 4 waiting!

Massive thanks to those who work so hard to keep our reviews speedy - it really makes a massive difference!

Wiki Workers
Currently we are focusing on getting Character Wikis up to date and making sure / discussing how to make the Wiki accessible / easy to navigate!

Announcements!
We've got a finalised write up for the Deception Skill - thanks to Llyr and Pig Boy!
We introduced a new NPC type: Mage Apprentices. This happened as a result of a player suggestion. They're here!
5 new medals were added to the site
The Advocate role has been brought back in a changed form.

What We Are Working On!
Currently, we're working on the following:

I'm leading on this but it's kind of stalled a bit. If anyone would like to help, that would be very gratefully received.

• I've put forward a proposal for adding rewards to the Renown system. That'll be going live in a day or two!
