Mistral Woods

Pepper felt a vague sense of familiarity as she met the Eldwyn's eyes, but there was no time to wonder about such things. As the ember and black Eldwyn reached down and gently touched its nose to her forehead, she felt a light tingle, like small bits of electricity dancing over her skin. The sensation faded slowly, but a faint sense of it lingered for a much longer time. As the injured creature's pain filled cry reverberated through the forest, Pepper flinched in sympathy. Mistral Woods
Stormlands, Rharne
The creature was starving, it needed food, what did it eat? Meat? Vegetation? Hopefully it would regain its strength once the arrow was out, and the flower had worked its magic. After what seemed like ages, it was finally done, the arrow was out.
The flower dissolved in the water in Pepper's waterskin, even quicker than salt seemed to. That was unusual, but nothing compared to the purple radiance the water now held. While Pepper was debating how to get the creature to drink it, the injured creature wearily extended its mouth and took a drink from the waterskin. The moments where nothing seemed to happen stretched impossibly long, and Pepper began feeling helpless again. If this didn't work, what would they do.. But thankfully, the wounds slowly but surely began to close. The healing was slow but when it was done only the impressive scar and the starved look of the creature remained as physical manifestation of the whole ordeal.
Spren's wistful comment that they'd all probably forget everything recalled Pepper from the magical reverie that seemed to have descended on the whole scene. She shrugged, "We may not remember, but I bet the woods will. Things should start getting back to normal now.." Se absent mindedly rubbed her forehead which still tingled with the ghostly imprint from the Eldwyn's touch.
Her thoughts moved ahead, to returning to the village, they should be able to get there now without much trouble.. Hopefully anyway. Following the stream further downstream should lead them out well enough. She was looking forward to returning Nauta's belongings to him, hearing that everyone lost had been found and getting back to her family. Now that the excitement was almost over, she felt exhausted. But she still smiled, looking at the creatures they had all helped to heal today.
