The NPC was used well in my opinion. I like the way you showed us how the dead children affected him – his hair was unkempt, and his features were ashen. And besides that, you presented your readers with a riddle that made me want to continue reading. I wanted to know why the dead children that had been found were arcs older. I agree with Lyari.
It doesn’t make any sense!
I like how Yeva and Darius worked together. Yeva’s love of languages was described well, and I like how she used her knowledge of medicine. A disease that causes children to age exponentially sounds scary. And imagine my surprise, when she mentioned Devin Thorn!
Visting Petyr was a good idea, even if the man turned out to be innocent. With that being said, I wonder how the investigation continued, and if the case was eventually solved!
Enjoy your rewards!
P.S.: Yeva, if you come back, let me know if you want any knowledges for this thread, please!

Comments: Well, that was an interesting way to start the thread. I couldn’t help but wonder why Darius was running and what the parchment said, and what more, the comparison to a mammoth that was late for an appointment amused me. I haven’t read the previous threads in this series, but I had no trouble understanding what was going on regardless, due to the links that you provided and the conversation with the Element Lyari! The NPC was used well in my opinion.
