Details:Corpseflowers are seen throughout Scalvoris, all over the island. In their "usual" form they are not anything special, just unusual plants which are hard to grow (expert gardening). However, if grown on a grave then the plant takes on some quite unique aspects and these are known as "true" corpseflowers. If ingested, a true corpseflower puts the individual into a deep hallucination / trance which lasts for up to ten breaks. During that time, the individual is largely incoherent but, upon the plant wearing off they report that they were able to see ghosts and spirits of those who have not passed over. They claim that they have been able to speak to them and whilst some of these stories are wild and highly unlikely, others have been uncannily accurate.

Details: Not a tree at all, this low, spiky bush is beautiful in the day time, but at night is when it truly comes in to its own. In the night, it glows a beautiful silver. It is called a "Biqaj Tree" because it glows the same sort of silver that the blood of that race does.
How To Use: Unknown. The Biqaj Tree is relatively newly discovered as such not all of its properties are explored / documented yet.

Details: How this plant only grows on Ishallr is a mystery. It is a rapidly growing and very easy to grow. In fact, that's part of the problem. These plants grow - and they grow - and they grow some more. Given a little bit of time or an inexperienced gardener and they will soon overgrow the entire garden. The level of gardening required is to stop it from taking over the world, rather than cultivating it.
How To Use: The berries are very sweet, rich and flavorful. Other than that, no one knows.

Details: A pretty little plant which gives off a subtle and pleasant aroma. The aroma itself is said to aid relaxation and promote a restful sleep. Other than that, very little is known about this plant as it has not been fully utilised throughout Scalvoris. It is a hardy little thing which seems able to grow in almost any conditions.
How To Use: The leaves of the Insomnus plant can be dried and smoked to promote sleep. This is useful in a medicinal manner, rather than as a recreational drug of any kind.

Details: Waterskin Plants are strange things. They are fast growing and they seem to soak up the moisture from the ground into the waterskin 'pods' which look like they are buds for a tulip-like flower. However, the inside of these is a strange "sponge" like substance which soaks up a lot of water. Each bud is a small 3cm high 'pod' and if squeezed carefully, up to 1 pint of water can be extracted. That makes this a very good plant for adventurers, travelers and those who might need a source of clean water.
How To Use: Whilst un-peeled the pods have a hard outer shell, much like an orange. Once peeked, the small sponge-like inside is revealed. Once opened, the water will dissipate within a few breaks, so should be used immediately, or decanted.

Details: A pretty and sweet smelling blossom, the scent of the Purple Peach is what gives it its name ~ each bloom smells like a fresh, ripe peach. The tiny string-like 'leaves' of this plant are what make it noteworthy, however.
How To Use: The string-like leaves can be used to reduce temperatures and can be given safely to children as young as 3 arcs. Infused in a warm tea with honey to sweeten, for example, these will alleviate the symptoms of a common cold and will help the individual feel better, lessen congestion and hold a fever at bay. They can be added to food or drinks and can even be simply chewed.

Details: This is a very unusual looking plant which was discovered on the expedition to the Ice Caves undertaken in Ashan 717. The petals are edible, but have to be prepared a particular way. Whilst it is in bud form, the bud for this plant looks deep red but, as it opens up and blooms, it takes on the strange shape and different colour
How To Use: The petals need to be subjected to extreme cold and then will add a very unique bitter flavour to any dish. The tart bitterness of these petals is best in a dessert or a jam/ preserve.

Details: A beautiful, delicate little flower which came originally for Ishallr, where it more or less blended in to the snowy domains. The tiny flowers have an incredible amount of detail to them yet are surprisingly robust upon handling. They are lightly scented and that scent tends to be most prevalent at dusk.
How To Use: Although utterly without any taste, White Heat flowers can be eaten or added to a foodstuff. When ingested, they taste warm and so can be invaluable for travelers or explorers who are on long journeys as cold food can warm them with the addition of this strange little plant.

Details: A small herb-like flower, nestled amidst plain green leaves, the orange flower of the Orange Onyx is so named because it is more valuable than onyx should one need it. Once it is established, this is a quick growing plant which flowers all arc around.
How To Use: Drinking tea made from this plant acts as a contraceptive. Four flowers infused in a tea will prevent pregnancy for one 28-trial cycle. It is a preventative method only and does not have any impact, either positive or negative, on an already pregnant woman.

Details: This looks like a rather dull, boring, normal and rather mundane plant, especially for Scalvoris. Nothing could be further from the truth, in fact, but fundamentally this appears to be a large fern ranging in shade from dull green to deep mustard yellow. It has no noticeable scent and is very rough and unpleasant to the touch.
How To Use: This fern can be prepared and broken down into a cotton-like substance which can be woven into beautiful, multi-hued silk. The finished product is vibrant and beautiful, but entirely random in colour combination.
