The graveyard is located outside of the city walls in the surrounding woodlands on the northwest side. Many of the graves have been raided by thieves and necromancers alike over the years, and now have a team of dedicated guards who patrol the grounds day and night to make sure nothing is damaged or goes missing. Only the wealthy and upper middle class are buried, with most commoners and the majority of the poor burned on a pyre or in mass graves once they are dead. Royals and nobles are placed in tombs under their homes in royal crypts. Those who forgo this honour, much like Queen Freya Renault of Rynmere, were often believed to be traitorous or not of royal blood.
