Information: Harvested from the boiled seeds of a painyun plant, Severance is a local anesthetic that can numb an area of effect as large as a man's forearm. By boiling the seeds until soft, then splitting them and boiling them again, the liquid turns a light green colour and can be stored in sealed bottles until use. Each dose can last three seasons undisturbed, but only six trials if unused after uncorked. This is strong enough to numb a wound, an inflammation, etc.

When consumed, it tastes bitter and old, but isn't harmful to one's digestion.

Information: Hafra, the greyish powder that is popular among the sailors of Ne'haer and Bayward, is made by drying the leaves of a fern that grows along the shore outside Ne'haer, and the venom gland of the Red Sea Anemone. When the leaves are dried, they are ground into a greyish powder, then the venom gland is coated in the powder. After three trials, one grinds the venom gland, which powders into the leaves and reacts with the leaves.

When snorted, this drug is felt almost immediately. It's like resting for three trials, re-energizing the user and allowing them to go two whole trials without sleep. It also increases their physical ability, fueling their strength and endurance until the drug runs its course. Once it does, the withdrawal lasts for two trials itself, and the user is unable to move physically, or communicate. The drug is also addictive, causing shakes if another dose is not administered within 7 trials. It takes 10 trials without redosing to break the addiction.
