Location: The Harlot 'n' Hound

Debauchery was more than a theme, more than a style even, when it came to working here at The Harlot; Patrick found himself always busy with customers here and there, it took him a while but eventually he finally earned the right to work the bar again. Many of the best customers were always there in fact but occasionally, when he worked the floor someone interesting seemed to come along. Tonight of course was a night much like any other for Patrick and he knew the routine, he lived and breathed it every day really when it came to this kind of job.

Oddly enough he'd been considering making a career out of it, were he not occupied with the current predicament in his life. He'd learned how to hide it well enough and come time for questioning, he came up with a good cover story to say the least. The bluff of a unknown winged creature in the night attacking him had some merits at least, though the truth itself became twisted to better his appeal towards others. Indeed the bite which had cursed him somehow served one decent purpose, his lustful cravings for the human body were magnified to newer heights.

Newer in a way that suggested the tasteful appeal of flesh honestly, still he learned that deviating from it with his work helped. Many were fans of kinks and enjoyed sensual biting here and there, so it only became natural that his reputation would grow among several clients. One actually enjoyed it when he bit hard enough for blood to draw, well enough that she frequented him every once in a while. He got quite the kick out of that quite honestly, a recurring visit like that meant he could curb his appetite for a time.

"You're numbers haven't been written yet." Sugar reminded him as she passed down the hallway with her own cliente in tow, Patrick tapped a finger to his temple as a notion that he took a mental note for reminder. With the last few buttons left undone to allow his neck to breathe, Patrick made it down the stairs and towards the bar where he could write down his earnings for the night, along with the extra he'd just made from the client he'd finished with earlier.

It wasn't often that Kherron visited the Harlot 'n' Hound. It always proved to be far too chaotic for his liking. He was more suited to the less spontaneous; more elegant, unique and brimming with style. Some would call his tastes strange and unconventional, and in a way, it was true. Most were quick to enjoy things in the moment, but Kherron, well, he savored them.

There were many bars and entertainment establishments in Rharne; the city was renowned for its propensity for a good time. So Kherron visited them on occassion, to both learn of the going ons in the industry and to establish connections and networks he could use to further his own business. By no means was he well-known or popular, on the contrary, he preferred to remain inconspicuous, but when the trouble came knocking on his doorstep, he needed to know that he had the resources necessary to survive.

Although he was not a frequent visitor, Kherron was still familiar with the various working parties employed by the Harlot. He'd enjoyed the company of Sugar on more than a few occasions, with whom he nodded toward when he walked in. The Hounds had been interesting visually, but nothing that drew his attention for more than a few minutes at most.

It was the bar to which the mortalborn approached. He settled into a stool and opened his coin pouch, sliding a shiny gold nel toward the bartender with a sly smile. "Would you do me the honors of pouring me some rum?"

The music blared from the corner of the room as Kherron waited for his drink. He glanced over his shoulder, eyeing the provocative dancers and the men and women who pined for them like slathering hounds. Ah, so that's where the name comes from. His lips quirked into a smirk, but quickly died caught sight of a pair of eyes staring far too long at him than he liked. With a narrowed gaze, he turned back around, facing the bar with nothing more but a clearing of his throat.

Sorry this is a boring intro, I gave him room to be the bartender if you like!

Patrick had already taken the quill from its inkwell when another customer walked up to the bar, his nose already stuck into the book where they kept their numbers written from each client. He hardly took notice at first until the man that approached dropped a gold nel, with the request for whiskey, which then required Pat to actually look up from his post curiously. Anybody could easily see that he'd been busy tonight with the soft sheen of sweat that coated his hair, and also gave a faint shine to his forehead within the right lighting.

"Just rum then?" He repeated as he left the gold nel in its place next to the customer, once the shot glass had been prepped and drink was poured; Patrick's lips curved into a friendly if not usual smile as he presented it to the man. "Here ya are, one shot o' rum fer ya. First drinks 're usually free for first timers, and I haven't seen yer face around before." He reasoned with a finger tip pressed on the nel, with little casualty the bartender slid it closer to the man. He wasn't quite aware that this man may have visited the establishment before, then again he hadn't worked here long enough to remember every face that strolled in.

"Speakin' of which." Patrick muttered as he eyed the man closely with a bit of interest. Strong angular features added to the masculinity present, the guy definitely looked a little rigid yet attractive. Had to have quite the line of ladies ready to propose to him, or so the bartender mused to himself as he returned to his numbers. "What brings ya here tonight? Just lookin' fer a place t' drink, maybe even pop yer cork with a bit o' interest?" The question allowed for conversation while he worked, something Patrick didn't mind when he worked at the bar of course. At least half the time it boosted his chances of gaining another client.

Shame this ended up a dead thread. Looked like it had potential. Enjoy the points as a consolation prize.
