Edifice of the Creator

Edifice of the Creator

Straddling the gate to the Heart of the World, all of Sirothelle knows and fears the monolith's face.

After Faldrun created the Aukari, it is said that his first command was the erection of this edifice in his image. Overlooking all of Sirothelle, it would serve as a constant reminder that nothing in the city – or Idolas - escaped his gaze. To this day, that much is true; the smoldering colossus looms over Sirothelle's tallest towers, making it a wonder how the first Aukari achieved such a feat.

This embodiment of Faldrun scowls at those below in disgust, his brows pinched to a point, his lips twisted in a snare. The seeming of a light cloth drapes his muscular form. One hand extends out over the city commanding the Aukari to go forth and conquer in Faldrun's name whilst the other wields his spear, reaching on high, gathering the powers of the fire and suns. All who oppose Faldrun will face his wrath, being promised nothing but suffering and agony in the raging inferno of Faldrun's dominion. Under his feet lay the representations of the defeated: twisted forms, mortal and immortal alike, of all who defy his will.

The Heart of the World breathes life into the giant. As the mountain rumbles, veins of fire ignite and set Faldrun's eyes aglow. The elemental fury surges through his limbs like a torch in the smoggy, dismal sky. All who protested the incarnation of such hubris were silenced, for Faldrun welcomed any who would seek to contest him. "Let them come and see their enemy. Then they will know the rights they have: to cower, to flee, to die."
