We’re very excited about our Point Bank program, where players and staff can earn points for a wide variety of activities, including writing certain types of threads and participating in OOC development, art, and reviews. These points can then be spent on special items in our Point Shop!

Do you have an idea for an item you’d like to see added to our Point Shop? Suggest it here using the below form!

Name: Rings of Fertility
Item Category: Item
Suggested Cost: 300
Description: The Rings of Fertility is a set of three rings. Two are identical bands of onyx, one is a band of ivory. Their purpose is to help gay couples all across Idalos. If two males or two females wish to have a child together, that is entirely of their DNA, they now can. The happy couple simply put on the two identical rings and have a surrogate put on the third. The magic tied into the rings create a bond between the three. Then the surrogate need only have intercourse with one of the couple and get pregnant. Once the female surrogate is pregnant- or the female partner of the couple is pregnant by a male "sperm donor", so to speak- the baby they carry holds no genetic ties to the surrogate/donor, only to that of the happy gay couple. This allows gay couples to live the dream of having their own child. After nine months (or however long their race takes) either the surrogate or the one happy partner gives birth to a 100% genetically connected baby.
Any Restrictions?: Can only be used once, must be bought again for other children. However, the chance of twins and triplets still are within the realm of possibility.

Description: A small, pretty tasteless biscuit which, once eaten, provides the amount of sustenance needed for 3 trials. A boon to travellers because of the size and lack of preparation, these are especially useful on long sea voyages.
Any Restrictions?: One use only, must be eaten, doesn't work on Yludith.

Description: This item is for those who feel unhappy with themselves in terms of their appearance, and is often sought after by individuals with body dysmorphia and other insecurities, or those of taboo races wishing to integrate into society. The Salve of Dysmorphia allows for someone to change vast things about their appearance, one time only. This can be used to transform their skin color, eye color, hair color, bodily features (and physical proportions) as well as their height and weight in general. This can, in fact, be used to even appear as a different race. However, one cannot change their sex with this item, and no changes truly effect them outside of whatever naturally comes with changing their physical proportions.

Name: Salve of True Dysmorphia

Suggested Cost: 500
Description: Taking a step further than the Salve of Dysmorphia, the Salve of True Dysmorphia can almost completely change one's self - almost every biological characteristic can be altered, save for one's sex and any mage mutations one might have. The Salve of True Dysmorphia allows for someone to change vast things about their appearance and biology, one time only. This can be used to transform their skin color, eye color, hair color, bodily features (and physical proportions) as well as their height and weight in general. This can, in fact, be used to even change one's race entirely, changing their entire biology to match that of the race. This cannot switch a male to a Naerikk or a female to a Lotharro.

Description: The Ring of Paradim is slick and unassuming, a small band of steel that always fits whoever wears it. The Ring dissolves all witchmarks, brands, and mutations -everything short of a Revelation- on one tainted by magic. However, the ring also seals the sparks, cutting off the wizards ability to use all magic. When taken off, the connection to the spark is muddled, but is fully restored within three trials. Until the third day without the ring all magic cast will be 'sloppier' and far less controlled than before as everything is restored. In fact, a wizard is better off not casting at all during the three day period. The removal of the ring also -immediately- reveals the witchmarks, brands, and mutations.

Name: Duplicity Dress / Suit
Item Category: Item
Suggested Cost: 500 (I think?)
Description: This is either a dress or a two-piece suit (made up of shirt or blouse plus trousers or skirt) which can change appearance twice a trial. It will always look like clothing, will never be warmer or cooler and will not add any other advantages, but it does allow the wearer to compeltely change their look with literally a click of their fingers. All they have to do is picture what they wish to be wearing and then activate the item. This can literally look like anything from rags to a ball gown and can be any colour or colour combination the wearer wishes.
Any Restrictions?: If this is a two-piece suit, both pieces must be worn simultaneously to work. Damage to the fabric renders the item useless.

Description: A fist-sized rock attached to the end of a wooden staff. It looks regular and unsuspecting until darkness comes. The rock glows with the light of a campfire, driving back the shadows of night and illuminating the travelers path.

Name: Life Giving Ring

Suggested Cost: 200
Description: A silver band with a simple sapphire inlay. This ring that absorbs the lifeforce of its wearer, a day at a time for each day that its worn. This effectively ages the wearer at twice the speed. However, that life energy is saved within the sapphire stone, able for the wearer to use when the situation calls for it. The rings true power lays in its life giving properties. Truly a selfless healers ring. The stored vital force can be tapped via will of the wearer, and this energy can be given to another living being. When imparted the extra vital force entering the being is channeled to wounds, fractures, breaks, etc. effectively 'aging' the injury a day at a time until they are completely healed, the sapphire stone runs out of vital energy to give, or the wearer of the rings wills the flow to stop. This ring works on physical injury and sickness, but cannot aid in illness of the mind. This ring can not impart extra days of life to a person, the excess vital energy immediately runs 'to what is ailing' and aims to fix that a day at a time. If an imparted person is completely cured or not injured to begin with, at most they will feel a bit hyper, energized.
Any Restrictions?: Can only be used on LIVING things. Undead cannot use the ring. Immortal beings cannot use the ring as the life giving ring requires sacrifice to work properly.

Name: Ouroboros Bracelet

Description: This bracelet suspends the bearer in time itself. While wearing the bracelet they will not age, require sleep, eat, or drink. They will feel neither warm nor cold. Their body, when injured, will not and cannot heal via mundane or magical means. Their sight fades from hues of color to a dull grey. One find its hard to become impassioned about anything, and when they do feel emotion it causes physical pain, almost like a shock traveling through their body. Its a muted experience... And when the bracelet is finally removed their life will slip away.

Name: Shooting Star Bow
Item Category: Item
Suggested Cost: 500
Description: The Shooting Star Bow was created by the Fair Folk (Fairies?). A weapon of Emea, dream-like qualities can be seen even in its construction. The bow itself is curved and white as bone; made from a substance that feels more like stone than wood it is surprisingly flexible. The bow lacks a drawstring, but one isnt needed. Nor does it fire arrows from the physical plane. The drawstring and arrows are forged by the ether of its wielder, the bow drawing from the persons strength. These ether arrows are unaffected by gravity and wind conditions, flying in a straight line until they either collide with something or dissipate. The distance at which they dissipate is corresponding to the users skill with bows: Novice- 30 ft. Competent- 60 ft. Expert- 90 ft. Master- 120 ft. Legendary- 160 ft. At Master level those firing the bow can change the trajectory of the arrows mid-flight, up to 90 degrees. Legendary archers have complete control over where their arrow goes, even able to turn it completely around and preform more advanced maneuvers with practice. They accomplish this by concentrating on the arrow fired and picturing it curving in its path, willing it to move basically. The practice is the same for both Master and Legendary archers. However, those archers have to be aware of how much space their arrow has traveled, as it will dissipate either way, if its moved 90 ft in a straight line or 90 curved. Also controlling the trajectory consumes even more ether, so it would be wise to make little, subtle changes instead of making a show of an arrow flying in circles above peoples head.
Any Restrictions?: The process of creating arrows consumes the users ether. Controlling arrows also consumes ether.

Name: Wanderers Pelt
Item Category: Item
Suggested Cost: 300
Description: An abnormally large wolfs pelt, belonging to a once great dire wolf. The pelt was enchanted to shift the wearer into the dire form of the wolf. The transformation can last up to a trial, but can be stopped simply by envisioning in ones mind eye taking off the pelt. The transformation can only occur twice a season, and must be willed to work. Those in wolf form will experience the sharpness of a wolfs senses, while still keeping their logical mind. Over time, however, use of this pelt has made its bearers act more... feral.
Any Restrictions?: Can only be used twice in a season.

Name: Ghost Hourglass
Item Category: Item
Suggested Cost: 250
Description: The Ghost Hourglass is an object of Emea. Coming from the dreamscape this object turns whoever flips it incorporeal, intangible, and invisible for one hour. While affected by the hourglass, one cannot effect the world around them in any way. Instead they are invisible, passive observers of reality. They have the freedom to move through any physical obstacle with ease. The sands of the glass will fall steadily into the receiving chamber, even if the hourglass is tipped once more. The sands always flow in one direction. Once an hour is up, the sands start to flow the opposite way and the user becomes corporeal once again. For the next 5 trials the sands reset themselves, and in that time the user finds that their luck will be less than good. Whatever can go wrong, will, usually. Such is the price of using the Hourglass.
Any Restrictions?: Can only be used once every 6 trials.

Name: Mans Mask

Suggested Cost: 200
Description: An old wooden mask that does not hide the face of its wearer. Instead it goes translucent. The wearer of the mask will exude an aura of trustworthiness and charisma. Words are turned to honeyed things, treats for the listeners and those he speaks to are more likely to believe him, even if he is lying. The mask's effects are not as great with those who have high meditation.

Name: Ilaren's Jug
Item Category: Item
Suggested Cost: 400
Description: A container of wine, be it in the form of a beautiful carafe or a simple pewter jug, it pours wine. Whenever it is tipped to pour a random wine will fill the cup / glass. Saying that, although what wine it produces is entirely random, from excellent to downright nasty, it produces an endless supply of it.
Any Restrictions?: Only produces wine (red, white or rose) and will only work when held against a cup or glass. Some enterprising individuals have tried to produce it by the bucket, but the jug simply does not work that way. Furthermore, what type of wine the jug is producing is not evident until it is actually pouring into the cup or glass.




Name: Stone Horse
Item Category: Mount
Suggested Cost: 300 (?)
Description: A smal stone statue of a horse. When activated, it becomes a life sized mount, perfectly suited to whoever activated it. The mount is tireless and completely obedient, requiring no sustenance. When it is time to sleep, the horse returns, once again, to a statue
Any Restrictions?: Can only be activated twice a day

Name: Echo Boxes

Suggested Cost: 400? (I'm not sure!)
Description: A pair of boxes. When an item is put in one and the box sealed, whatever is placed there will appear in the other box exactly 1 trial later. Distance is not an issue for these as they utilise the same effect as their counterparts, the echo scroll.
Any Restrictions?: Takes a full trial. If the "sending" box is opened during this time, the process needs to begin again. Box size is 1ft cube.
